Privacy

How umrahhome uses the details you give us when you book.

What we keep

  • Your name, phone (WhatsApp) and email.
  • Your booking: hotel, dates, rooms, number of people, and what you paid.
  • Papers you choose to send us: passport or visa photos, and payment receipts.

How we get it

  • From the booking or request form on this website.
  • From your WhatsApp messages and calls to our office.
  • If you book for a group or family: from the person who books. That person must have the others' permission to give their details.

Why we keep it

  • To make, change and manage your booking, and to tell you about it.
  • To check your payment and send you your booking paper.
  • Because the law asks hotels to keep guest records.

We use your details because you asked us to book for you, and because the law asks hotels to keep guest records. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Who sees it

  • Our own staff who handle your booking.
  • The hotel you stay in.
  • If you pay by card: the payment company that takes the payment.
  • A government office, only when the law requires it.

When you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages also pass through WhatsApp (a Meta service), under WhatsApp's own privacy rules.

Small files in your browser (cookies)

This website keeps a few small files in your browser: to keep a half-filled form for a few minutes, and to keep staff signed in. They are not used for advertising.

Where it is kept

On secure online servers, which may be outside Saudi Arabia. Only people who need it for your booking can open it.

How long

As long as the law requires for hotel and tax records, and after that it is deleted.

Your rights

You may ask to see the details we keep about you, to correct them, or to delete them when the law no longer requires us to keep them. Where you gave your permission, you may take it back at any time. If you are not happy with how we use your details, you may complain to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
